Tupac Amaru Shakur, a hip hop icon, died ten years ago this month. As such, there have been a number of articles written about his work recently (here’s one) – but here’s something I bet you didn’t know:
Since last month, 2 Pac has tracks on the Podsafe Music Network.
When I saw this, it blew my mind. I’m still not sure if I intend to play it or not – after all, I’m really about underground hip hop, right? Still, it’s a remarkable thing that anyone can now play some of his tracks legally. Kudos.

yeah, when i got the pmn update last week, i was like, what? that is pretty major. i’m not sure if i’ll play it either, but still…just the fact that it’s there for people to play is amazing in and of itself.
