HarperCollins’ Prosecast
Also of interest: No related posts
I just finished listening to episode two of HarperCollins’ new Prosecast. It’s a great example of what companies can be doing to enhance the experience they provide - and even better, it’s produced by someone in Canadian podcasting, not by some random idiots with no experience in the industry.
I hope I see more stuff like this soon; it’s showing how existing companies are beginning to recognize the value of the experience that podcasters bring to the table.
Pssssst, are you new here? You might want to pick up my RSS feed, it'll let you know when I put up new stuff. Thanks!

wtf, dude? Podcasting started with a bunch of random idiots. It’s all about random idiots. You’re a random idiot. Don’t go disparaging the random idiots of the world.
Oh, man — I agree with Dave. Podcasting, and blogging too, are definitely all about “random idiots”!!! Sure, I appreciate a polished podcast as much as the next person, but there’s no way I would skip one just because it wasn’t produced by a professional.
dude, i’m totally with you guys. what i meant by “random idiot” is some radio producer with no experience in podcasting or connection to the podcasting community. i’m happy they chose someone that was a part of it.
Hey guys!
I’m the random idiot who got chosen to do the Prosecast and I’m definitely part of the community. I do www.foursevens.com/thesniffer with Nora Young, Curiosity Cast and a bunch of stuff for Rabble Radio. I’m such a part of the community I’m rarely in the real world :-)
Give it a listen and let me know what you think.
