If you notebook drive crashes, you just boot up of the cloned image on your USB drive, you'll never notice the difference! I fell for a somewhat clumsy sales pitch for Apple "Pro" membership, whatever that is. Anyway I just found out the drive is down+out. Data recovery is the final option. Yeah, generally they don’t.
