		<description>Definitely an interesting analogy... It might be slightly more accurate to call the &quot;parasites&quot; symbionts, since they act in a way that benefits both the host organism and themselves. 

Well, at least that&#039;s true for most platform apps... Zombies and SuperWall might be exceptions to that idea.

Another interesting takeaway from this is the idea that &quot;rats abandon a sinking ship&quot; - lack of development for a platform is a clear early indicator that something is amiss. Palm and Microsoft Silverlight are two recent examples that come to mind. 

Anyway, the real reason for my comment is to say thanks for pointing me to Stanza! I&#039;ve been waiting for a great eBook application to come along and I&#039;m downloading it to try now on your recommendation :)</description>
