although i’m almost certain that every listener to my show is as moronic as i am, anyone who wants to challenge themselves with more analysis of urban street slang (as discussed on my most recent show) can check out this recent blog post by Ella, who has been inspired to write on the subject recently.

i put up a show last night and am just now getting around to blah blahing about it because i’m freaking out about iTunes, as well as being otherwise pretty busy. shownotes later, i swear. click here to listen tracks by dl incognito, canibus, and mum’s the word. show some love if you like em.
apparently Apple added some namespace into iTunes to get your podcast to be displayed properly with their stuff. it’s kind of lazy, but at the same time, can you imagine them being responsible for all these different podcasts being displayed in their program? so if you want to check out how to do it, check [...]

the illusion that my twenties are the beginning and end of my life is dissipating pretty quickly. a quick dave winer post on the subject.
a tiny little bit of content of mine was used in The Feed’s pilot episode – check it out, not because of that, but because of its promotion of podcasting to the public listener base of the CBC. i should have blogged this earlier but i was too busy slacking. story of my life.

emcee and i did a live recording on mt-royal street to test out our recording equipment, and it worked super well with garageband 2 (finally able to record on multiple tracks simultaneously) and an m-audio mobilepre. check out the little promo we made (it’ll be on the RSS feed later on today).

m-c and i have been asked to do a 90 minute show for German public radio – a station which, if i understand correctly, is the equivalent of the CBC – in which we showcase new Canadian and world music. no, this doesn’t mean i’m suddenly hella loaded. ha. we met for the project today [...]

Ella took a few cool pictures during our capoeira batizado this year. Lighting was a bit low so they ended up a bit dark, but a few really cool pictures stand out, which can be found on her Flickr page. Feel free to check out her collection of street graffiti as well.
i’m going out for a pizza right now, so i don’t have shownotes for you – but i’m particularly happy to present you with today’s show. click here to listen

the CBC gives podcasters staff discounts on the CBC shop! i continue to be impressed by what i hear out of the CBC in terms of podcasting. i’ve also been subscribing to their CBC Radio 3 podcast and, although it’s somewhat radio-like, it’s rather good and i recommend trying it out.

i actually recorded this show a few days ago. i’m not amazingly impressed with it, which is too bad, because all the tracks are really good: immortal technique, clann zu, and other passengers. all podsafe, all the time. click here to listen
i’ll only post briefly about this, but the podcasting meetup in ottawa was not nerdy. it was awesome. i don’t know why, but i felt really good hanging out with all these guys that care about the same stuff i do. looking forward to seeing them again.

Sweet Jesus. Tod Maffin listens to 100 podcasts a day.
i know i’ve talked about this a bit already, but i am really going to have to insist that pretty much everyone start listening to media artist secrets with franklin mcmahon. i passed this along to jason at insomnia radio and he said he listened to every single one of them, twice. we must have [...]
