how my friends see me

Quote from Jake (click the pic for context): “Is it just me… or is Charles talking to Julien in the last panel?” It’s interesting to note that I don’t think I’ve ever posted a picture on my weblog, which is particularly interesting now considering I have several hundred people listening to my show. Whatever the [...]

Yep, so we have a new show here for ya. Fresh, yup. That’s what it is. You know, this waking up early schtick isn’t so bad; I’m feeling alright. We play music by Jets to Brazil and LEVY. Let the artists or labels know you heard them on a podcast if it was your style [...]

hard drives and comments

I’m in the market for an external hard drive, probably around 160GB or so. Anybody know anything about this? Because otherwise I will surely make an ass out of myself and buy something pretty. Speaking of something pretty, does anyone know why the Lacie HD designed by F. A. Porsche is less expensive than the [...]

podcast 21 jan

Today I end up responding to some voicemail queries, play some Saw and Clann Zu again, and just a bunch of other stuff. Talk a bit about The Tragically Nameless Podcast and Comicology. Click here to get the mp3

webcam of montreal

Nathan directed me to a cool webcam of the streets of Montreal. You can select downtown, Old Port, a bunch of locations. And no, you cannot see my house from here. I’m amazed I hadn’t seen this yet; I’m sure every other Montrealer knows while I remain blissfully ignorant.

I am mad lazy. I woke up at 4 PM today, and it’s 2 days late for posting this on my blog (though it was on the RSS feed in time). Click here for the mp3

I was planning on doing a show today but instead i totally crashed. I had around 2 hours of sleep due to finally getting two of our cats out to the vet at 9 am. So with this in mind, I’m doing a show tomorrow with some good stuff; stay tuned.

I know everyone else has blogged about this, but I thought it was awesome. Go to this page for context.

New file up. From yesterday. If you’re upset I didn’t put it up until now, you should probably be subscribing anyway. Should I be leaving instructions on how to do this on my website? Probably eh? One of the most rewarding things about podcasting is receiving emails or comments from new listeners. That people love [...]

shirt

I just got my new shirt from Herbivore Clothing. They have a magazine as well (the subject of which I’m sure you can divine), which is so-so, but cool on the principle that it can exist and profit.

Ok, so we have a new show up and discovered the inane nonsense behind the last show’s technical difficulties. Click here to get the mp3

podcasting secrets exposed!

I think I may have to commit some form of self mutilation at this point, having just used the phrase “I’m going to blog this,” in my own head, talking to myself about this very post. > I think we’ve officially reached the point of no return here.

a bit sick right now

Sorry about producing no content for the moment. I was going to do some audio today but I’ve been pretty sick for the past couple of days so I have no will to live. In case you want to hook up some other shows, here’s some good stuff that’s come out in the past few [...]

bizarro

Something really weird happened with my recording last night. Have no idea what, but we somehow ended up with only the left channel being recorded. Jason alerted me to this. I was pretty amazed – I have no idea how it happened. Hopefully the show is still listenable. We’ll fix that next time.

A little late with this entry but, yes, the new show is up. We talk about traveling a bit and play some music many of you probably have never heard before in your entire life. Click here to get the mp3. I think we have clearly settled on a shorter show at this point, which [...]
