Oh, and as long as I’m complaining about stuff, how about a link in your blogroll?

Dude, it’s NOT often that I totally disagree with you, but the shoes thing I completely don’t agree with.
I grew up not much and shoes are not something I care about, but I actually hate white white shoes. They should be dirty and used. It shows you actually wear them rather then just buy them to look pretty.
Hmmm….don’t know. Fucking love the show still. Dont’ ever change my brutha.

[...] Big time Julien Smith morning. I’ve listened to the dude on The Canadian Buffet and then on In Over Your Head. I’m going to be swearing like a sailor for the rest of the day now because of it. He’s also fueling my desire for a new tattoo and hiking the AT. I can only imagine the conversations we would have on that walk! What do you think Julien? Are you aware that the Darkside is fun? *laugh* I mean that in a nice community sort of way. Don’t worry, I’m ok. I just haven’t had enough coffee yet and have been busy all morning already. [...]

don’t like skits on hip-hop albums. BLAME PRINCE PAUL. he’s the skitmaster. hip-hop skits can pretty much be traced back to De La Soul’s debut album *3 Feet High & Rising*, which Paul produced. there really weren’t too many skits on hip-hop albums prior to him going nuts in the studio. it’s damn near 20 years later and he’s still at it. hip-hop’s class clown, really, but he’s brilliant. without him, there’s no Madlib. seriously.
i’m a guy that irons his jeans and t-shirts; of course i want my white shoes whiter than white…
September 17th, 2006 at 11:55 pm
speaking of Madlib, could you really picture the Madvillain album without all those weird interludes in between songs? i know i couldn’t…
September 18th, 2006 at 12:28 am
alright jason, you’ve got me there, but madvillain is practically a concept album… not exactly your usual fare.

Buddy I love this shit. I do worship you for all my music needs. A god of podcasting and quite likely the most entertaining ‘thing’ to look forward to. You rock!
Inspirational guy too! I bet you have at least once sat and thought about all the people you are encouraging to simply go. Let go and do what feels good and right. You are setting a perfect example in your own right! Thanks brother.
White shoes….makes sense. I got two pairs though one dirty one clean…wtf. I wear the dirty ones to keep the clean ones clean, what does that mean…F!
Peace
